COTSWOLDS MANOR HOUSE
This 1911 Baillie Scott Arts & Crafts House, set in the heart of an Oxfordshire village, was fully refurbished and redesigned to create a modern family home while honouring its remarkable architectural character. The Cotswold stone property is filled with quirky original features — fireplaces, flagstone floors, oak-panelled rooms, hand-forged ironmongery, mullion windows, built-in window seats, and a traditional stone roof. The clients wanted to preserve this heritage while making the house functional for contemporary living. After extensive repairs, including restoration of the original oak flooring, new bathrooms and bespoke tailored joinery were installed. The entire house was then painted in a gentle palette, with bold botanical fabrics echoing the rambling garden outside, bringing warmth, charm, and renewed life to this unique historic home.
