Our services can be tailored to suit projects of all sizes from complete new builds & full-scale renovations involving structural alterations and extensions to more straightforward interior dressing & styling solutions. Whatever the scope of the project, we also provide comprehensive project management services to ensure a smooth, efficient process & successful completion from start to finish.

STAGE ONE:

DESIGN

From taking the client’s brief our process starts with initial 3D hand drawn sketches which we then work up into CAD plans & SketchUp Models. Sourcing products & materials as well as putting together a palette of paint colours is all part of our initial design stage.

STAGE TWO:

SPECIFICATIONS

Following approval of the Stage One designs we then prepare a full set of drawings & specifications ready for the contractor. We also provide Lighting Layouts, Bathroom & Kitchen Design along with all finishes schedules & budgets.

STAGE THREE:

SITE

Whilst the project is on site, we make regular visits to check progress & liaise with all contractors, suppliers, and clients. We will manage all the furniture delivery, installation, and fitting as well as final dressing of the project.

At the GHID we believe that while a home's public rooms set the tone, it’s private spaces should be equally considered within the overall design. We favour elegant, high-quality hardware, a refined mix of luxury materials, layered lighting, and bespoke joinery to create intimate, calming rooms.

COLOUR CONSULTANCY

For six years, Gabriel worked as one of three appointed Colour Consultants for Farrow & Ball, advising on paint colours for historic buildings and private residences. She continues to work independently as a private Colour Consultant providing expert guidance on colour selection & decorative schemes.

BESPOKE KITCHENS

Drawing on five years at Plain English Design, Gabriel specialises in bespoke kitchens that enhance both function and character. GHID offers kitchen design independently or within a full renovation, collaborating with skilled local craftsmen to create spaces tailored to the client and the architecture.

BESPOKE JOINERY

Design of bespoke joinery including bookcases, wardrobes, and dressing rooms.
