MODERN FAMILY HOME

This project involved a complete update of a tired modern house in Broadstairs, transforming it into a functional yet stylish home for a young family. The bespoke kitchen centres around a large island with waterfall ends, framed by a tall built‑in china cabinet with fluted glass doors. Inky blue cabinetry contrasts with muted white stone worktops and a white‑oiled herringbone floor, creating a calm, contemporary feel that continues into the new laundry and cloakroom, where mosaic tiles add texture and detail. In the dining room, a full‑size historic London mural provides a dramatic backdrop to a 1960s tulip table and chairs, while an Italian designer sideboard is topped with modern table lamps, completing a space that feels relaxed, characterful, and beautifully balanced.
